Plugin Updates:

  • Canvas/Blackboard LTI integration:
    • added support for Blackboard LMS and XML based LTI,
    • added support for scopes in Canvas LMS,
    • added option to match user by login or email,
    • added option for Canvas admin to login on the network to be able to configure courses on all sites,
    • added option to redirect based on role,
    • added option to remove users from blog after removing from course.
  • Google Connect: Login image update.
  • Join Multisite: Allow hyphens when registering sites. To enable for users you need to:
    1. Go to Settings > Join Multiste > Sign up form in network admin dashboard.
    2. Select Redirect users accessing “wp-signup.php” to “Join Multisite” form.
    3. Select Allow hyphens when registering sites
  • Lightbox for Images: updated from 1.2.1 to 1.3.3 with accessibility improvements to hid the link to screen readers that opens the lightbox. Screen readers don’t need to see larger images. ALT text left.
  • Visual Editor Widget: Updated from 2.2.9 to 2.6.9.
  • WP SMO plugin:
    • added “Use image from custom field” and “Use first image from post content” feature,
    • added “Default Sitewide Image url” to Settings > SMO,
    • added “og:image:width” & “og:image:width” tag when available.
